A message exchanger log The MX record identifies the mail server that processes domain-related email requests.

The Domain Name System (DNS) contains this resource entry.

For redundancy and load balancing, it is feasible to set up multiple MX records, which usually point to a cluster of mail servers.

A domain may use as little as one mail server in its most basic configuration.

The server with the lowest preference number should be attempted first when multiple servers are returned for an MX query.

Prior to proceeding to lower-priority entries, all MX records with the same preference number must be exhausted.

If the provided domain name has any MX records, this program will check them.

To configure an internal or external email server for a particular domain, these records are added to the domain’s DNS.

Type in the domain name, and you’ll be able to see the MX records right away.
